KHPT – HCMC to organize the Biggest Vietnam IT Outsourcing Conference 2015

Quang Trung Software City (QTSC) and HCMC Computer Association (HCA) co-organized Vietnam IT Outsourcing Conference (VNITO 2015) will be held October 14-16th 2015 at The Reverie Saigon (Times Square), Ho Chi Minh city. VNITO 2015 is the largest international trade by far for IT outsourcing in Vietnam. It welcomes over 150 participants of multinational companies and 200 IT Outsourcing (ITO, BPO ) enterprises, where they would seek to outsource business.

According to the Tholons’Report 2015, a leading full-service Strategic Advisory firm for Global Outsourcing and Research, HCM City ranks the 18th and Hanoi at 20th on the 100 cities in the world most attractive in software outsourcing. Also, Vietnam tops global outsourcing location index for first time in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) , according to the latest research from global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield.

“Vietnam is still very competitive when compared to other global locations with 5 main factors. Firstly, Vietnam trusted by technology firms, large corporations around the world, including Intel, Samsung, LG, Renesas, Foxcon, Fujitsu, Canon, Panasonic, have set up manufacturing bases in Vietnam; HP, CSC, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Avaya, NTT, Toshiba, NEC, Panasonic, Sony, Sharp, Hitachi, Boeing, Deutsche Bank moving R&D to Asia recently Vietnam. Secondly, skilled labor force graduated more than 40,000 engineers that have a high level of technical ability from 290 universities across the country. In the third place, Vietnam government opened policies on investment attracting and encouraging in high-tech parks, sofware parks, including aid for skilled labour and tax incentives. Then, despite rising costs offshoring services recent years, Vietnam remains 30% lower than in India and less expensive than 50% in Eastern Europe. And finally, inflation rate below 10 percent annually can create an important competitive advantage in.”, said Mr.Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Deputy Director of QTSC.
