Mr. Long Vuong has worked for LogiGear Corporation for six years as Director of Human Resources (now Sr. Director/Leader, Sr. Management Team), helping the company acquire and grow a highly qualified and scalable workforce, now standing at a headcount of 800. He also actively participates in Vietnam’s IT/software community, representing LogiGear to the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA), Quang Trung Software City (QTSC), Vietnam Software Association (VINASA), AMCHAM, and software engineering/computer science schools in Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, Vietnam. He was a member of the Organizing Board for VISTACON (Vietnam International Software Testing & Automation Conference) for 2010, 2011, 2013, hosted by LogiGear & HCA (2013).

Interestingly, although Mr. Vuong’s current field is HR, his true background is in finance & accounting, with 20 years of solid experience. Aside from that, he makes his hobby as a freelance translator/editor with a proud “body of work” of more than 30 books published in Vietnamese, including The Snowball, Classic Drucker, Differentiate or Die, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The 8^th Habit, The Speed of Trust, Principle-Centered Leadership, Breakthrough Thinking, Think & Grow Rich, Nudge, The 24-Carrot Manager, and many others.
